The French Total Company purchased 80% at Baranan oil excavations in Kurdistan Region, in a move that enhances the company's condition in KR which enjoys abundant oil reserves.
The French Total Company purchased 80% at Baranan oil excavations in Kurdistan Region, in a move that enhances the company's condition in KR which enjoys abundant oil reserves.
The spokesperson of the Company said on last Monday that "Kurdistan Regional Government will have 20% of the oil excavations in this area," noting "These projects were considered at Madara oil exploration where the Total Co. entered Kurdistan in 2012."
The French Total Co. purchased in the summer of 2012, 35% at two oil exploration areas in KR which offers more attractive contracting conditions if compared to that of Iraq's south.
