Dubai, 1 Oct. 2012 (WAM) -- The UAE voiced today its support for Arab initiatives introducing modern agricultural technology and building human and research capacities for realising sustainable development, Dr. Rashid Ahmed bin Fahad, Minister of Environment and Water, said today.
The minister stressed during a meeting with Dr. Tariq Al-Zadjali, Director General of Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD), the need for exchange of expertise in agricultural and animal sectors for achieving self-sufficiency. The AOAD chief lauded the UAE's support for the organisation's activities and programmes.
