The Egyptian Industrial Development Authority (IDA (is seeking to sign an initial agreement with the Libyan government to implement a number of infrastructure projects in Libya worth about EGP 15 billion (USD 2.4 billion), the head of IDA told Zawya.
The Egyptian Industrial Development Authority (IDA (is seeking to sign an initial agreement with the Libyan government to implement a number of infrastructure projects in Libya worth about EGP 15 billion (USD 2.4 billion), the head of IDA told Zawya.
IDA has invited 50 Egyptian contracting, construction and hospitality companies to participate in a number of projects related to the reconstruction of Libya, Ismail Najdi said. Final arrangements will be made in "the coming months", he said.
The projects include revitalization of the hospitality sector in Tobruk and Benghazi at a cost of EGP 3 billion, Najdi said. He did not reveal more details.
