Dubai: The first session of the ‘Agenda’ — a digital initiative launched by Dubai Press Club (DPC) — will be held on Sunday at 11pm UAE time on DPC’s page on Google+. It will discuss the role of media in promoting the use of social networks.
The ‘Agenda’ will host a series of virtual seminars, meetings, workshops and talk shows using the latest digital social networking applications.
Citizens can participate in the sessions using Google Hangouts, a chat application that will allow them to watch and interact from anywhere using computers and smart phones as the event takes place.
The session will also be broadcast on DPC’s channel on YouTube. The hashtag #agenda will be used for the discussions on Twitter and will be integrated to DPC’s page on Google+, connecting many social websites together.
