Dubai The Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment is launching a new initiative this summer, in addition to Dubai Summer Surprises and Modhesh World, called ‘Ramadan in Dubai,’ which will be followed by ‘Eid in Dubai’.

“Every year, we strive to offer our visitors and residents something new and exciting,” said Laila Suhail, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment. “Through the cooperation of our strategic partners that include well-known government and private sector entities, we are aiming at offering an enhanced summer experience for visitors this year. We employ our experience and knowledge to create new initiatives and events that serve to enhance the performance of events and retail sectors, two of the most vital components in Dubai’s economy.”

Running all through the fasting month, ‘Ramadan in Dubai’ will have numerous Ramadan-related family events and activities reflecting its spirit. Senior religious speakers with host seminars and lectures, and Ramadan tents and daily iftars will be held at the Modhesh World. ‘Eid in Dubai’ features numerous Arabic theatre performances and concerts featuring Arab singers in addition to folklore and heritage performances.

Dubai Summer Surprises, spread over five weeks, runs from June 22 to July 31. Around 6,000 retail outlets are participating in this year’s DSS with spectacular promotions across Dubai’s malls. DSS will also have numerous events that cover fashion, culture, sport, and entertainment. Environment is also a key focus this year.

Running all through the fasting month, ‘Ramadan in Dubai’ will have numerous Ramadan-related family events and activities reflecting its spirit.
