BAGHDAD: National Assembly member charged Parliament Presidency, number of Iraqiya bloc MPs and the Kurds of hindering the work of the Parliament.

MP Kareem Elaiwi, in a statement, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq today, added that the Presidency of the Parliament is hampering the endorsement of laws, as well as some members of Iraqiya bloc who did not attend the meetings of the parliament, which to be added to the absence of the Kurdish MPs.

Iraqiya bloc announced, on 26 January 2013, boycotting the meetings of the Parliament, except for the session that will withdraw confidence from the government, for ignoring the demands of the demonstrators.

On the other hand, the Kurdish Alliance warned, on 9 March, 2013, of adopting "an open stand with all alternatives", in response for endorsing the general budget without their consent.
