Call for Kuwait to cancel court files against Iraqi Airways, MP

Free Iraqiya bloc MP Alia Nsaif called Kuwait to cancel all legal files against Iraqi Airways.In a statement issued by her bloc's media office, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, she said that "the files of the Iraqi Airways have been settled, but the legal issues are still in court ".

BAGHDAD: Free Iraqiya bloc MP Alia Nsaif called Kuwait to cancel all legal files against Iraqi Airways.

In a statement issued by her bloc's media office, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, she said that "the files of the Iraqi Airways have been settled, but the legal issues are still in court ".

She expressed astonishment for not cancelling the legal pointes on the matters mutually agreed to be solved.

Kuwait got a court verdict from a British court against the Iraqi Airways for the 1990 war.

Iraqi Cabinet agreed in 20 March 2012 to allocate 300 million dollars to be paid to Kuwait Airways to settle the issues between the two sides.
