The Ministry of Works posted materials testing results e-service on e-government portal Bahrain.bh.
The new online service allow, contractors and supervisors to track the testing of material samples and also view the test-results report on line. The ministry said they were working on a five-year strategic information systems plan to offer additional online services on the portal as part of its commitment to provide world-class e-services to citizens.
Hisham Sater, ministry director of information technology, said, "We're delighted with the momentum we've built in bringing our services on line. We've developed an enviable skill base to ensure not only the timely manner of service delivery but also a level of reliability and responsiveness previously unachievable."
Isa AbdulRahman, marketing and awareness director of the E-government Authority, said, "The co-operation of ministries and government bodies will gradually transform the Kingdom of Bahrain into an e-government leader committed to using innovative technologies to provide quality and value to our citizens, residents, businesses and visitors."?
