DOHA: Barwa Real Estate Group, one of Qatar's leading international real estate and investment groups, revealed its latest community-oriented residential property - Lusail Golf Residential Development, at CityScape 2012.

The group launches its ambitious new development and exclusive project covering an area measuring 3,659,736 sq m. About 31 percent of Lusail Golf Residential Development is allocated to residential areas and 69 percent to sports facilities and green areas.

The development is split across three distinct zones; Lusail Gharb, Souq Lusail, and Lusail Sharq.

Lusail Gharb is an up-market, exclusive zone that features a Greg Norman 18-Hole Golf Course, Golf & Country Club and Chris Evert Tennis Center.

It also includes an exclusive branded cluster of Norman Estates. Souq Lusail on the other hand is a contemporary inspired Souq which offers retail and lifestyle services, sports and residential clubs, an international school and a mosque.

While the third zone Lusail Sharq is characterized by its family orientation as reflected in its green spaces, 6-hole Academy Golf Course and accessibility to schools, the village center and other facilities. The Lusail Golf Residential Development also includes a retail village, a boutique hotel which offers 80 rooms, and community facilities such as schools, mosques, and health clinics.

The Group has showcased a number of its leading projects, which include Barwa Commercial Avenue, a QR7bn mixed-use development that stretches over 8.5km in length; Barwa Al Baraha, the largest workers' accommodation in the Gulf that is expected to accommodate 53,000 employees and workers; and Barwa City, a 1.35m square meter development, which was officially launched on  May 20.

The group is offering visitors a multitude of attractive offers, which include a 20 percent lease reduction on single retail spaces on the Barwa Commercial Avenue project. Retailers intending to lease more than one showroom on the project will also receive a 50 percent rental reduction on the second unit. This special offer is also extended to all existing signed contracts on the condition that tenants visit the Barwa stand at the exhibition centre to activate the deal.
