The Ministry of Works (MoW) announced yesterday the signing of a BD165,000 agreement with Kingdom based consultants, ACK Solutions for management consultancy services on collection and analysis of a wide range of information on its major stakeholders.
Measuring performance on strategic objectives and progress on projects is an essential part of the strategic planning and performance management process, the ministry said in a statement yesterday.
The Development of Survey and Statistics Capabilities agreement will ensure that accurate information was available to ensure that MoWs plans and services matched the expectations of stakeholders.
"As a professional organisation our role is a vital one for the future of Bahrain, and we use a range of methodologies to ensure that our strategy is in line with stakeholder requirements and the National Economic Vision 2030," said Minister of Works, Fahmi bin Ali Al Jowdar.
"This agreement will help us to continue to plan and deliver world-class services to the people of Bahrain."
The initiative will also strengthen its statistical collection and analytics capabilities.
The ISO 9001-certified ministry said it had adopted the highest international standards to facilitate the Kingdom's economic development through delivery of a world class national infrastructure
