DUBAI: Saudi Aramco has short-listed companies for nearly $3 billion worth of construction deals at its planned 400,000-barrel-a-day Jubail export refinery, London-based MEED reported, citing sources close to the firm.
Among the pre-qualifiers for the bids are Canada's SNC Lavalin, the United States's Bechtel, Italy's Saipem, South Korea's SK Engineering & Construction and China's Sinopec, the magazine said in its latest issue published late on Friday. Aramco and its joint-venture partner on the refinery, France's Total, are expected to sign a deal for the Jubail project today, a Saudi source told Reuters on Friday.
