EMIRATES AIR TO ADD FLIGHTS TO SAUDI ARABIA THIS SUMMER

Dubai-based Emirates Airline, the Middle East's largest air carrier, plans to increase available seats on flights to Saudi Arabia by 12% this year. The airline will add four new flights a week from Jeddah starting from June 1 and three new flights a week from Riyadh starting from early August.

SAUDI JABAL OMAR TO LAUNCH PHASE 3 OF MECCA RE PROJ SOON

Saudi Arabia's Jabal Omar Development Co. (4250.SA), or JODC, plans to launch soon the third phase of its large-scale mixed-use real-estate project in the Saudi holy city of Mecca. JODC has secured a loan worth 3 billion Saudi riyals ($799.9 million) from the kingdom's finance ministry to cover the cost of this phase.

EGYPT FIN MIN SAYS THERE ARE ALTERNATIVES TO IMF LOAN

The Egyptian finance minister Momtaz El-Saied said there are alternatives to foreign funding to plug the country's deficit, including recourse to land and dollar deposit certificates to Egyptians working abroad, besides the $3.2 billion loan facility from the International Monetary Fund.
