Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) voiced on Sundaya  readiness to carry out small projects to help out the fish industry in Yemen with activities such as storing fish, marketing fish, and using fishing tools.
 
The statement was made by AOAD Assistant Director General Ahmed al-Samawi during his meeting with Minister of Fisheries Wealth Mohammad Shamlan.
 
Shamlan and al-Samawi discussed the possibility of establishing joint fish projects to assist in reinforcing the national economy and realizing local food security.
 
They agreed to expedite their implementation so that some projects may be launched by the end of the 2010.
