LONDON (Dow Jones)--Amec PLC (AMEC.LN), an international engineering and project management company, said Thursday it has been awarded a project management consultancy services contract by the Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company for the front end engineering design phase of their Flaring & Emission Reduction project at its Liquefied Natural Gas facilities on Das Island, United Arab Emirates.
MAIN FACTS:
-The 10-month contract, the value of which hasn't been announced, will be carried out by Amec's team in the UAE.
-Shares at 0855 GMT up 11 pence, or 1%, at 1090 pence valuing the company at GBP3.53 billion.
