Muscat: ahlibank, the premier bank in the Sultanate, will be conducting a seminar on 'Islamic Banking, Best practices and Development' in collaboration with the Sultan Qaboos University, at the University premises on April 2, 2012.
Renowned experts in the Islamic Banking field will speak during the seminar which includes Dr. Ali Muheldin Al Quradaghi, Chairman, Sharia Supervisory Board of Al Hilal Islamic Banking Services, Ahli Bank Oman who also happens to be the Secretary General of the International Union of Muslim Scholars; Prof.
Dr. Humayon Dar, Chairman and CEO of Edbiz Consulting Limited, a London-based Islamic Financial Consultancy Firm; Sheikh Aflah Al-Khalili, Member, Sharia Supervisory Board of Al Hilal Islamic Banking Services, Ahli Bank Oman and the Head of research and Studies at the Institute of Fatwa in the Ministry of Awqaf & Religious Affairs and Dr. Nasser Al Mawali, Assistant Professor of Economic, Sultan Qaboos University.
