Amman - President of the Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) Ziyad Homsi called for boosting economic and trade relations between Jordan and Croatia.

At a meeting with the Croatian Ambassador to Jordan Darko Javorski, Homsi said trade exchange between the two countries fall short of the aspirations of the two countries as it only reached $400,000 last year.

The ACI president stressed the importance of following up on meetings of the joint committee which was formed in 2005 with the aim of promoting trade and investment exchange between the two countries, and setting up partnership between the private sector from both countries.

The ambassador voiced his country's willingness to enhance economic and trade ties with Jordan, highlighting the need to hold meetings between the two sides to acheive common interests.
