Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH), the UAE-based hospitality company with operations in the hotel, catering, transport and retail industries, had operating revenues of Dh932 million in the first half of the year ending June 30, 2012.
ADNH also posted a net profit of Dh137.02 million while the company’s total assets stood at Dh10.41 billion.
According to the financial report issued by the company, the hotel division, consisting of both internationally branded owned hotels as well as ADNH’s Abu Dhabi-based brand, Al Diar, accounted for Dh350.83 million in total revenue while the company’s catering and contract services business reported Dh386.07 million in revenue.
Al Gahazal, ADNH’s transport division, registered total revenues of Dh121.82 million and the retail division contributed Dh73.18 million in total operating revenue.
Most recently, ADNH opened the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel on Saadiyat Island.
The company is also on track to open the Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal, the first Ritz-Carlton property in the capital in September of this year.
Comprised of 395 rooms, 52 suites and 85 villas the hotel sits on the grand canal in the Al Maqta area directly adjacent to the Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
