A significant and ongoing initiative in Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait is to improve the quality of its customer care and pay great attention to nurturing customer relationships. Well focused on this aim, ABK's Retail Banking division is always working to upgrade the product and service offerings for its clients.

Retail staff has recently undertaken new Performance Development training to help enhance their performance and development regardless of the role they undertake. The training was mandatory for all Retail staff, in an attempt to develop finer performance skills across the board in Retail, in order to serve customers professionally and proficiently.

"By investing in our people we are building for the future" said Stewart Lockie, General Manager, Retail. "This then is our top priority as a well trained and accomplished group is a happy team that in turn will ensure positive results for our clients. I believe in a strong team headed by strong leaders that can steer Retail in the position we would like to see ourselves in" Lockie added.

ABK is proud of its success in recruiting, retaining and developing Kuwaiti talent. To this end Retail Banking is a key supporter in providing new recruits with a career and development chart, whilst ensuring that each individual's capabilities and talents are honed to their full potential.
