Beirut -- Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Lina Annab, on Monday, stressed the importance of cementing ties between Jordan and Lebanon, especially in the religious tourism domain.

Anna, who is currently visiting Lebanon, said her visit aims to promote religious tourism, as both countries have religious tourist sites that complement each other.

The minister on Monday evening, visited St-Joseph Convent (Deir Mar Youssef) in town of Jrabta, Batroun District, northern Lebanon, where the tomb of St-Rafka is located, and was received by Mother Superior of St. Joseph Convent- Jrabta Sister Melanie Maksoud and nuns.

She said tourism builds bridges of love and peace, adding that there is nothing more beautiful than the bridge of religious spirituality that can connect people to each other, in places such as this sacred place.
