TUNIS - Agriculture and water resources minister Abdessalem Mansour conferred, on Monday in Tunis, with Mr. Tarek Ben Moussa Zedjali, Arab Organisation for Agricultural Development (AOAD) director-general.

The talk turned on means to boost co-operation, to intensify, to this end, exchanges of researchers' findings, notably, in the field of water, agricultural goods, fisheries, forests and animal health.

Mr. Mansour underscored Tunisia's will to boost its co- operation with AOAD and highlighted the qualitative leap experienced by Tunisia since the Change.

For his part, AOAD director-general underlined the interest the Organisation takes in the positive indicators recorded by Tunisian agriculture and the efforts exerted to achieve food and water security.

He laid emphasis on the stakes to exchange production expertise and techniques which have shown their efficiency.
