HAMMANA, Lebanon, July 27 (KUNA) -- A number of Lebanese figures and businessmen lauded on Wednesday the State of Kuwait's countless contributions in Lebanon, expressing great gratitude to the leadership of Kuwait, especially to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Haitham Abu Al-Hassan, one of the Lebanese businessmen who spoke to KUNA at a business gathering, said that the deeply-rooted Kuwaiti-Lebanese relations are "exceptional" on many levels.

He added that Kuwaiti investments in Lebanon, especially real estates and banking, are considered a "cornerstone" to Arab investments.

In conclusion, Abu Al-Hassan hailed Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) for promoting essential services in some of the main Lebanese tourist areas such as Hammana, Al-Shabaniya, Bhamdoun and Al-Qala, which helped push the economic and social wheel forward in the country.

The gathering was attended by several Lebanese military figures, KFAED representative Engineer Nawaf Al-Dabous, businessmen from Kuwait, UAE, Qatar and Lebanon.
