UWAIT: Mushrif Trading & Contracting Company was declared the lowest bidder to carry out the services for design, supply, erection, commissioning and maintenance of pumping stations at Hidd Forwarding Station, Salmabad Forwarding Station, Buqawah Distribution Station and Modifications at Various Existing Pumping Stations in Bahrain. The Client is the Ministry of Electricity and Water, Bahrain.

Mohammad Al-Jasser of Mushrif mentioned that the project is estimated to cost around $65 million and is part of the Water Transmission Project associated with Hidd Water and Water Station Phase III. Mushrif will be responsible for detailed investigation, design, procurement, construction and installation of plant within the new and existing water supply sites. In addition, Mushrif will also be responsible for installation of fibre optic cables between stations and modification and extension of the existing SCADA systems.

This will be the second major project that will be executed by Mushrif in Bahrain since completion of the project at Tubli for Production and Utilisation of Treated Sewage, and Expansion of Tertiary Treatment Plant for Ministry of Work and Agriculture, Bahrain.
