Abu Dhabi, June 19th, 2012 (WAM) -- A delegation comprising Sun Bay Walk and Kang Jeong Hui, General Directors from the Presidential Office for National Crisis Management of the Republic of Korea visited ADWEA and discussed UAE experience in crisis management, securing the supply of electricity and demand forecasting.
Director General of the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA), Abdulla Saif Al Nuaimi and Faris Obaid Al-Dhaheri Director of Business Support, welcomed the delegation here in Abu Dhabi. Al Nuaimi provided a brief explanation on the activities of ADWEA and its group companies. He shared ADWEAs experience in water and electricity supply and security to meet consumers needs, related demand forecasting as well as the mechanisms employed by the authority to meet peak load demand; including continued investment in new developments, creation of a solid infrastructure and emphasizing efficiency and sustainability.
