Targeted trade fair to run alongside Chemspec Middle East

DUBAI: International Expo Consults (IEC), a division of Dubai's multi-faceted Falaknaz Group, has announced the launch of its latest trade show - Chemical Process, Plant and Machinery Middle East exhibition (CPPM).

CPPM, which will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from November 29 to 30, is an international trade show serving the chemical, petrochemical and other related industries.

"With the increase in the demand for process technology and equipment in the Middle East, we sensed the need to launch an exclusive event which caters to the growing demands of chemical, petrochemical and other related industries. CPPM will showcase the very latest technologies and cutting-edge products of the industry," said Abdul Rehman Falaknaz, President of IEC.

The Middle East is the most dynamic chemical and petrochemical production centre in the world. Investment in the region's US$56 billion petrochemical and chemical sectors is growing at an estimated 10-15% annually.

In the UAE alone, investment in this sector is expected to increase threefold in the near future, opening up opportunities in the downstream end use processing sector.

Global competition, environmental imperatives and a challenging economy are driving manufacturers to lower costs and increase efficiency in a more sustainable manner. CPPM 2010 will address these needs by connecting attendees to suppliers with the right solutions and technical expertise to help them succeed.

Products to be exhibited at CPPM Middle East will include absorption systems, Anti Corrosion Equipment, Pipes and Fittings, Process Plant Equipment & accessories, Valves, Electric Recharge Machinery, cleaning equipment, environmental technology, heat exchangers, packaging and transportation systems and other machineries serving the Chemical and Petrochemical industry.

Visitors expected to attend will include consultants, dealers and distributors, Decision Makers, Experts from the industry, project development authorities, government officials, Traders, Importers and Buyers.

CPPM 2010 aspires to showcase the latest technology and cutting edge products for the industry. The exhibition will run alongside the international ChemSpec chemicals exhibition, organized by DMG World Media. Both organisers are working in close cooperation with each other and a simplified registration process will allow visitors to easily access both events.
