JEDDAH: The United International Transportation Co. (Budget) has signed an agreement with Abdul Latif Jameel (ALJ) to purchase 5,000 Toyota cars during the year 2010.
The agreement, which was in line with Budget's strategy to upgrade the services offered to its customers, was signed by Budget's Chairman of the Board of Directors Abdul Ilah Zahid, and ALJ's President Mohammed Jameel.
In a statement on the occasion, Zahid said Toyota cars represented 60 percent of Budget's fleet. He underscored the growing cooperation between Budget and ALJ.
Jameel appreciated Budget's continuous cooperation with ALJ and said his company was looking forward to more business opportunities with Budget in light of the strong bilateral relations that goes back to nearly 30 years.
Headquartered in Jeddah with branches throughout the Kingdom, Budget is a Saudi joint stock company.
