BAGHDAD: The leader in al-Iraqiya Alliance and Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq, has called on the Alliance's ministers to end their boycott of the Council of Ministers' meetings, pointing out that in the event all problems are resolved, al-Iraqiya would have another position.

"After a recent meeting between Mutlaq and Iraq's President Jalal Talabani that discussed the current political crisis and the horizons for the holding of the proposed National Conference, and following the positive viewpoints expressed by  President Talabani and others towards al-Iraqiya Bloc, Mutlaq has called on its ministers to return to the Council of Ministers, to prove their good

intentions to settle the suspended problems," a statement by Mutlaq's office stressed.

Al-Iraqiya Bloc had announced on Sunday, January 29th, its resumption of attending the Parliament's sessions following a  45 day boycott, but it did not decided to attend the meetings of the Council of Ministers.
