Saudi Rajhi Bank Plans To Expand Branches Network In Jordan -Report

BEIRUT (Zawya Dow Jones)--Shariah-compliant Al Rajhi Bank , Saudi Arabia's biggest listed lender by market value, plans to expand its network of branches in Jordan to different parts of the country in the near future, pan-Arab Al Hayat daily reports Thursday citing an executive.

The bank started operations in Jordan last month through two branches in Amman, Tarek Akel, Al Rajhi 's regional manager in Jordan said, according to the paper.

Al Rajhi began providing banking services to individuals and is now seeking to offer corporate banking services as well, the daily cites him as saying.
