Petro Rabigh Says High Olefins Unit Off Stream Until End July

DUBAI (Zawya Dow Jones)--Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co. (2380.SA), or Petro Rabigh , said Wednesday that contrary to an earlier statement its high olefins fluidized catalytic cracking unit will be shut until the end of July due to additional maintenance work.
The work will lead to reduced gasoline and polypropylene sales in July, Petro Rabigh said in a statement published on the website of the Saudi bourse.
However, the crude distillation unit, ethane cracker, merox units, polyethylene unit, high-density polyethylene unit, monoethylene glycol unit, butene unit and all utility units were brought on stream in June, the company said.
