Kuwait Devt Fund To Provide $1.35B In Support To Arab SMEs-Report
Thursday, Jul 07, 2011BEIRUT (Zawya Dow Jones)--The Kuwait Development Fund will provide $1.35 billion to support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, or SMEs, in the Arab world with priority given to Egypt and Tunisia, Cairo-based Al Ahram daily reports Thursday citing Nabil El Araby, secretary general of the League of Arab States .
The League is committed to protect Arab investments and free inter-Arab trade, he said in a speech presented on his behalf by Mahmoud El Anany during a conference in Cairo Wednesday, the paper reports.
