MARKET TALK: HSBC Starts Dana Gas At Overweight; Rabigh At Neutral

0650 GMT [Zawya Dow Jones]--HSBC initiates coverage of Dana Gas with an overweight rating and target price of AED0.82; starts Aldrees Petroleum at overweight, target price SAR60; and starts Petro Rabigh at neutral, target price SAR29. Notes while Middle East holds nearly half the world's oil and gas, it still has one of the world's largest gasoline deficits and a growing gas shortage. "This paradox of scarcity amidst plenty, as limited refining capacity meets hyper-subsidised fuel and limited gas supply meets demand from the power and chemical sectors, drives our initiations."
