Kuwait's TII To Set Up Qatar Islamic Invest Co - Report

BEIRUT (Zawya Dow Jones)-- The International Investor - Kuwait, or TII, intends to establish an Islamic investment company in Qatar with a capital of $150 million in partnership with investors from the Gulf region, the Kuwait-based al Qabas daily reported Saturday.
The new company will invest in funds, securities and sukuk and will engage in brokerage and portfolio management activities, the paper reported.
It will also provide consultancy services, in addition to investing in projects in real estate, manufacturing and services.
