The Planning department of Dubai Municipality has launched its entire services online from May 2013. The move came as part of the Zero Visit Programme initiated by the civic body aiming at accelerating the municipal services in all areas of its work and achieving the complete transparency in transactions.
This was stated by Eng. Dawoud AbdulRahman AlHajri, Director of Planning Department, while introducing the online services to concerned officials and media team at Dubai Municipality.
'From this month onwards any service related to the plan, approval, application status, copy of approved plan, follow up, approvals ...etc will be available online. This will save a lot of time, energy, manpower and money at a time,' he said.
'We hope that the newly launched online services would increase the customer satisfaction and boost the business due to the availability of all services online without the need for waiting long time for approvals of plans and related things,' he added.
The public can visit DM's web portal www.dm.gov.ae to know further about online services under planning department in addition to other general services provided by the civic body.
