ZonesCorp's participation follows its continuous efforts to attract more foreign investments to the Emirate
Abu Dhabi, 20 May 2013: As part of the UAE's efforts to enhance economic ties with French investors, the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (DED) will be hosting its 'Abu Dhabi Investment Forum' in Paris on May 22nd.
The event will be sponsored by the Higher Corporation for Specialized Economic Zones (ZonesCorp), where HE Nasser Al Suwaidi, Chairman of DED will be presenting the opening speech. The event will include a UAE delegation comprising of 250 senior officials representing public organizations, departments and councils. The event will also be attended by over 200 prominent French businesspeople and investors.
During its participation in the event, ZonesCorp will be informing investors of the many privileges and services that it offers international businesses, in addition to informing attendees of the of the many investment opportunities the Emirate of Abu Dhabi provides in many strategic sectors: industrial, infrastructure, trade and alternative energy.
ZonesCorp's CEO, HE Mohammed Hasan Al Qemzi, will be giving a speech at the event where he will highlight Abu Dhabi's critical location and strategic value for investors, in addition to its comprehensive, modern infrastructure facilities, flexible economic policies and its stable economic and political environment, all of which make it an ideal choice for investors and businesspeople worldwide. HE Al Qemzi will also take part in a specialized discussion panel with prominent French investors and businesspeople.

ZonesCorp recently held an informative forum on the sidelines of the 2nd Global Special Economic Zones Exhibition and Leader's Summit in Kuala Lumpur. The forum aimed to inform Malaysian manufacturers and industrial investors on the growth and expansion opportunities that Abu Dhabi holds. The event also witnessed the signing of two MOUs.
The DED hosted the Abu Dhabi Investment Forum in Paris this year to further enhance the strong economic ties that the UAE and France hold, where France is one of the largest exporters to the UAE.
