RTA-Manal Khaled - The Licensing Agency, Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is holding its 80th Public Number Plates Auction on Saturday May, 25th in RTA's headquarters. Registration for the forthcoming auction that is offering around 100 plate numbers will be open on Sunday, May19th, for a week.
"The forthcoming auction will offer many eye-catching plates to attract the targeted audience who are keen to select their fancied numbers. We offer such numbers from time to time to meet the demands of customers, who have proved to be the key of our previous successes in public and electronic auctions alike" said Mohammad AbdulKareem Nimaat, the Director of Vehicles Licensing at RTA's Licensing Agency.
The public auction will offer around 100 distinctive three, four and five digit plate numbers comprising the codes "F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M and N", according to Nimaat.
"Any person interested can register with Deira and Bur Dubai licensing centres, unified service centre "Attuwar Municipality" as well as through RTA's website www.rta.ae.
Interested bidders will have to deposit a security cheque in the sum of AED10,000 refundable in case no successful auction is made. The winning bidder should deposit another cheque amounting in value to the total values of won plates.
Registration on the auction day will be open between 2:30 and 4:30 PM.
