Customer offering enhanced through collaboration with Abu Dhabi Department of Transport
Abu Dhabi, UAE: Abu Dhabi Motors was joined by senior officials from the Abu Dhabi Department of Transport today to celebrate the opening of a new vehicle registration facility at its world-class Umm Al Nar showroom.
General Manager, Arno Husselmann, was joined by Colonel Suhail Al-Khaili for a ribbon cutting ceremony as the BMW Group importer added another service to its enhanced customer offering. The importer has invested more than AED300million over the last few years into expanding and improving all areas of its flagship showroom in order to enhance the overall customer experience and create a unique environment to showcase the renowned BMW Group brands. This includes the upgrade of processes and systems, additional professionally trained staff and investment into the foremost diagnostic equipment. With this new service, customers can register their vehicle immediately upon purchase without having to leave the showroom for added convenience. Number plates will also be issued via Abu Dhabi Motors' new facility. In addition, customers can cancel their vehicle ownership - the car is then moved to the BMW Premium Selection showroom for re-sale.
Arno Husselmann said: "At Abu Dhabi Motors we are passionate about meeting the high expectations of our valued customers, and together with our partners, continuously strive to provide the very best services for them. Our strategy is obviously paying off as we continue to receive exceptional customer satisfaction. By opening a dedicated registration facility in our flagship showroom, we are making the purchase experience even easier and more convenient for buyers in the Capital. I would like to extend my thanks to the Abu Dhabi Department of Transport for their support in making our new vehicle registration service a reality."
Colonel Suhail Al-Khaili, Abu Dhabi Department of Transport, said: "We are constantly looking for simple and smart ways to make our products and services as accessible for residents as possible. Teaming up with Abu Dhabi Motors to open a dedicated registration facility was therefore a natural next step in our existing partnership and we look forward to many successful years to come."
The announcement follows the release of BMW Group Middle East's first quarter 2013 sales results, in which Abu Dhabi Motors was, once again, the highest volume selling importer, both in the UAE and across the region. 1,906 cars were sold during the first three months of 2013, representing a 22% growth. This follows its record-breaking results in 2012, in which the company delivered 5,358 vehicles - the highest number of vehicles sold in one year in the Middle East, and the first time any BMW Group Middle East importer has delivered more than 5,000 cars in 12 months. In addition, 11 Abu Dhabi Motors service advisors featured in the Top 20 BMW Service Advisor League table for 2012, of which five were in the top 10.
Abu Dhabi Motors' dedicated vehicle registration facility is located on the Ground Floor of its Umm Al Nar showroom, Abu Dhabi, and is open from Saturday to Thursday.
