CEO of Work Smart for Events Managements Mr. Ahmed Al Hujairy explored his gratitude to the  eGoverment for its effort in facilitating government process, and its high professionalism in organizing Bahrain IT Expo.

He also stressed on the significance of Bahrain IT Expo for the interest of public and private sectors "The expo is a precious opportunity to exchange experience, benefits, and build relationships between both sectors." he said during  preparatory Meeting to participate in the event.

"We should all appreciate the efforts of eGoverment Authority in implementing technology to facilitate government services to individuals as well as corporations" he added describing authority's role in improving governmental process.

Bahrain IT Expo is organized by Bahrain eGoverment Authority under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister H.H. Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa. The Expo is going to be held alongside Bahrain International eGoverment forum 2013 in Ritz Carlton Bahrain Hotel and Spa from the eighth until the tenth of April 2013

Many ICT companies are going to participate in the third edition of the expo, among them Work Smart for Event Management, Think Smart for development and training, and gulf future business are working on joint agenda for the expo, whereby they are going to promote the role of social media in enhancing daily operations of Bahraini companies. It is worth to note that these companies are participating in the expo every year.

In this regard Mr. Hujairy said "traditional tools and methods are not appropriate anymore in our modern-day where individuals have instant access to information"

"Alternatively, technology provided smart tools that removed the barriers of direct contact between a company and its clients. Today, marketing for instance is a dynamic process involves various stake holders and not limited only to marketing departments anymore" he added.


It is worth to mention that the three companies work in three different areas, events management, training, and business consultancy, however they are all use social media in marketing and development.

While Bahrain International eGoverment forum 2013 is going to approach subjects related to innovation, could computing, and social networking, Bahrain IT Expo should be attracting ICT companies whom are going to be able to showcase its products and services. In addition to private companies, participation of government sector is going to be substantial.
