Muscat: COMEX 2013, the Sultanate's official IT and Telecom Show, taking place from 25th -29th March at the Oman International Exhibition Centre promises customers unrivalled products and services from top names in the industry this year. The event, held under the patronage of e.oman and organised by OITE Trade Fairs will see the latest solutions related to IT and Telecom, showcased under three main pavilions namely COMEX Business, eGovernment and COMEX Shopper.
The COMEX Business pavilion helps businesses achieve competency in operations and quality of services through usage of the latest tech savvy products and solutions like 4G technologies, cloud computing solutions, social networking tools, telecommunication applications etc. The eGovernment pavilion gives companies and individuals a chance to communicate directly with e.oman representatives and learn about the latest ICT related ventures, projects and initiatives taken up by various government and also allows the government to gain valuable feedback from the public. Lastly the COMEX Shopper pavilion allows consumers to get their hands on the latest gadgets that will aid in the digital transformation of their homes and personal spaces, taking the process of communication to the next level.

Having generated participation from more than 130 ICT companies and having showcased 225 brands last year, COMEX 2013 expects a bigger turnout from visitors this year and presence from leading names in the ICT industry like TRA, Omantel, Nawras, Oman Data Park, Knowledge Oman, HUAWEI, MG-IT Group, E-Mart and Switch On among others. COMEX 2013 will also be hosting Industry Coffee Mornings for exhibitors and visitors at COMEX which will see representatives from targeted sectors highlighting the best ICT options that should be put into practice by the related industry.
