NACE International to Endorse the 2nd Annual Pipeline Integrity Management Summit, Doha

Fleming Gulf Conferences is proud to announce NACE International - Qatar Section as an endorsing association for the 2^nd Annual Pipeline Integrity Management Summit which will be held on 7-9 May 2012 at the Renaissance Hotel, Doha, Qatar.

NACE International is a professional organization for the corrosion control industry established in 1943. As of 2012, there are over 22,312 NACE members in over 100 countries. It is involved in every industry and area of corrosion prevention and control, from chemical processing and water systems to transportation and infrastructure protection.

This partnership ensures that the conference meets internationally accepted standards and attracts the most significant industry professionals.

The topic of corrosion and corrosion management will fall widely under the scope of the 2^nd Annual Pipeline Integrity Management Summit, and will elaborate in detail the causes of corrosion, internal coating of pipelines and stress corrosion cracking mechanisms.

Joining NACE International, the Pigging Products and Services Association - UK, and the American Society of Non-Destructive Testing, Saudi Arabia Section will also be lending their support towards the event.

The 2^nd Annual Pipeline Integrity Management Summit aims to cover significant industry concerns like maintaining comprehensive pipeline management systems, importance of risk assessment and threat notification in the PIMS life cycle, and transforming from fragmented pipeline inspection/monitoring/measurement to holistic Integrity management model to name a few.

The conference will be followed by a comprehensive workshop through which participants will be able to learn about emergency response systems, pipeline construction and maintenance, pipeline corrosion and cracking and pipeline assessment and repair methods.
