IIG Funding Limited - IIG Shareholders' Meeting
23 Feb 2012IIG held a shareholder's meeting on February 2nd, 2012. The meeting was called to by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and Industry , in accordance with Article 178 of Companies Law, and the amendments thereto, specifically to discuss IIG's violation of certain articles of the Companies Law. Shareholders representing 47.11% of the company's total shares attended, satisfying the statutory quorum for the convention.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry recited the violations upon which it had called for the meeting. Discussions of the violations took place between the shareholders and the company board representatives, where the latter commented on the aforementioned violations.
