Accor holds 2012 road show in the Middle East
Accor hosts its 10th annual Middle East Roadshow which runs from 18th-22nd February 2012. Accor representatives from Europe (Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, Brussels, Strasbourg), Asia (Thailand, Vietnam & Philippines) and all Middle East countries including Egypt will visit, Jeddah, Riyadh, Doha and Kuwait.The Accor Middle East Regional Sales team will host a series of workshops, organize meetings with major corporate and leisure agencies and host cocktail dinners in these four cities.
Christophe Landais, Managing Director of Accor ME said: "This 2012, we foresee robust growth for Accor in the Middle East. We started the year on a positive note with our first hotel opening with the Mercure Gold Hotel Al Mina Road Dubai, in January 2012, under a franchise agreement."
Philippe Seguin, Vice President Sales & Marketing Accor ME, said: "The Middle East region has great potential when it comes to digital online tools. Local residents are one of the most tech-savvy generations in the world. They are up-to-date with the latest technology gadgets and early technology adapters with most young people owning an iPad/iPhone/iPod/Blackberry. We aim to train our partner travel agencies to tap into this powerful tool, via an efficient booking system with our geo-localised website, Accorhotels.com Middle East. We live in a digital age and Accor is building its digital presence on all fronts."
Accor ME will also host special dinner events to award top key clients in each destination for their great performance in 2011.
With 56 operational hotels representing 12,357 rooms in the Middle East, Accor ME has plans to increase its network to 79 new hotels representing 18,248 rooms by 2015.
