New firms will be enlisted in bourse

Some 15 new companies will be enlisted in the Tehran Stock Exchange Market (TSE) in the next Iranian year (to start March 20), said the managing director of Securities and Exchange Organization.

Hassan Qalibaf-e Asl said that the organization has drawn up a large number of plans for the coming (Iranian) year.

Referring to the positive performance of TSE in the current year, he noted that new mechanisms will be developed in the market next year, IRNA reported on Tuesday.

He said the measure will make the market more attractive for investors.

He said that extensive studies have been conducted on tradable funds, adding the process will be pursued in greater earnest next year.

The official stated that the company plans to pay more attention to the development of software.

He hoped that the plans drawn up to ensure greater supervision of the market will be finalized in the next year.

Referring to the future perspective of the TSE, he said that the capital market is witnessing a growing trend and this is a good opportunity for those companies enlisted in the bourse.

Qalibaf-e Asl said that the TSE value increased threefold in the past three years. He noted that seven companies have been enlisted in the bourse since the beginning of the current year and hoped the figure will increase by yearend.
