Turkish company to develop Basra-Amara highway entrance

MISSAN: A Turkish company began developments on the Basra-Amara highway entrance (south of Missan province) at a cost of 9.4 billion Iraqi dinars.

Missan's Governor Ali Dawai Lazim told Aswat al-Iraq that two companies, Iraqi and Turkish, stared to develop the road, 2 km south of the province.

The project is expected to be implemented in 12 months time.

Amara city, the center of Misan province, lies 390 km south of the capital, Baghdad.
