Batelco Partners with NBB to Provide eCommerce & Electronic Payment Services
Manama, Bahrain: Batelco, Bahrain's leading integrated communications provider has announced its partnership with NBB, Bahrain's National bank to provide eCommerce and Electronic Payment services for the bank's clients and any potential eCommerce merchants. Batelco is committed to supporting Bahrain's endeavours to be a leader in the region's eCommerce market and accordingly Batelco is keen to establish relationships with leading financial houses as they form the core of the eCommerce trade and enable businesses to establish and grow.The eCommerce Payment Gateway is an electronic payment processing service which allows merchants to accept payments for products & services sold online or through any electronic means, giving merchants the advantage of electronic reporting, automatic refunding and additional required benefits.
The strategic new partnership will establish NBB as a new eCommerce acquirer in Bahrain and also strengthen Batelco's position as a technology leader being an eCommerce and ePayments services provider. Currently, Batelco and NBB provide Credit Card ePayments processing as part of the partnership and have plans to further extend the payment portfolio to include processing of other cards to existing and new merchants.
