inJAz Bahrain Provides an Internship Opportunity to "Company" Program Students
34 Students receive an intensive on job training during spring break
The internship program is offered to students who are undertaking inJAz Bahrain's "Company" program this year with an attempt to enrich the students' experience with real work knowledge and hands -on engagement while creating awareness of local businesses, industries and career opportunities, adding on to the skills they learn from the "Company" program.
The internship opportunity is extended by 6 industrial and financial institutions as part of their longstanding partnership and support to inJAz Bahrain and their belief in the importance of their role in providing career guidance to the youth in preparation for the work place. The companies participating in this internship program are GPIC , BBK, Alba, Citi Bank, Gulf Air, and KFH. The students follow a structured guideline provided by inJAz Bahrain to these companies focusing on 5 key work disciplines within each company; Marketing, Production, Human Resources, Public Relations, and Finance.

Commenting on his participation in this initiative, said Mohammed Salahuddin Al Meer, a student from Isa Town Secondary Boys School, "This initiative was very beneficiary to us. It made us aware about the world of work and how to handle different work situations which we might face in the future, in addition to handling responsibilities and punctuality".
