Thi Qar province demands Maliki visit
THI QAR: Thi Qar's provincial council demanded that Premier Nouri al-Maliki visit the province to find solutions to pending questions.Provincial sources told Aswat al-Iraq that the province suffers from a number of pending problems which were not solved, and are affecting the daily life of citizens in the province.
Among the problems are the questions of electricity and limited funds allocated to the province.
According to media reports, Maliki demanded that members of the provincial council should expose their demands "in under a minute's time".
