CBI sells 85 million dollars in daily auction

BAGHDAD: The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) daily auction of dollars today reached 85 million dollars, in comparison to 46 million dollars from the previous session, with a basic price of 1,166 dinars for a dollar.

In CBI daily newsletter, received by Aswat al-Iraq,it noted that today's session was minimal in comparison to the end of the last year, which reached an average of 200 million dollars per auction.

Previously, the purchasing of the dollar increased due to the sanctions against Iran and Syria, but deteriorated when the CBI ordered to declare the purchasing sources, since the beginning of this month.
