Career Opportunities at JOBEX 2012
Muscat - In line with His Majesty's vision to boost Omanisation in the country and to affirm the keenness of the country's leader in ensuring welfare and prosperity for the Omani citizens, the Omanisation and Job Opportunities Exhibition 2012 (JOBEX 2012) aims to contribute positively to nationalisation and employment by attracting key organisations both from Oman and Gulf region to showcase current and future job opportunities in the private and public sectors. To be held from the 23rd to the 25th of April at the Oman International Exhibition Centre, JOBEX 2012 will serve to highlight a number of job opportunities by creating a platform for interaction between prospective employees and managers of major companies. Organised by Oman International Trade and Exhibitions - OITE JOBEX, in its 11th year aspires to provide information to citizens in search for jobs and career development.Oman has one of the world's youngest populations. According to official figures, about 40 percent of its people are under 21. Under the directions of H.M. Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, there has been a lot of importance given to enhancing the role of Omani manpower in the development of the country. This would result in the creation of business opportunities for the Omanis, which would further result in higher economic gains for the country.
"In keeping with the theme of Omanisation, JOBEX 2012 aims at offering valuable information, advice and opportunities to professionals interested in career development and for those who are considering a change of field and looking to develop and acquire new skills. It also intends to expose qualified individuals to key organisations from Oman and the region and is an excellent platform for corporate organisations to boost their image and update prospective employees on the current trends on the job markets, the openings and vacancies, while simultaneously contributing to Oman's development towards rehabilitation of National Manpower", said Mr. Muktar Mirza, Project Manager of JOBEX.
JOBEX is organised alongside the International Higher Education Exhibition - GHEDEX and the Technology Education and Vocational Training Exhibition - TRAINEX.
