A-MAP to Leverage Commercial Vehicle Middle East Exhibition to Reach Annual Turnover of AED1 Billion by 2015
A-MAP to Launch Products and Services to Commercial Automotive Industry
Growing a whopping 60 percent compared to 2010, A-MAP is planning to consolidate its growth further in 2012, and increase its domestic distribution network with plans to open a distribution facility in Abu Dhabi. Sustained growth is expected throughout 2012 in both revenue and manpower, with the company aiming to increase its annual turnover to Dh1 billion by 2015.
The region has demonstrated strong growth since the global economic downturn, says one prominent auto industry leader, as interest builds ahead of the region's only exhibition dedicated to commercial vehicles, parts and services.
"There is a huge construction boom in Saudi Arabia at the moment and the region is attracting a lot of interest as a result. Companies are focused on expanding their vehicle fleets, and the increased demand for quality parts for these vehicles increases simultaneously," said Asad Badami, Managing Director for A-MAP.
"We've brought on board local clients like Bilal Transport, Al Faris and Swaidan Trading, and we see CVME as a prime opportunity to create relationships with regional and international companies," he added.
Dubai-based global auto parts trader A-MAP saw an incredibly busy and successful 2011. Last year saw A-MAP expand its logistical operations considerably within the UAE, with a branch office opening in Jebel Ali Free Zone along with increased warehousing facilities for smoother distribution to regional customers.
Dubai's outstanding reputation for 'ready stock' is the main reason behind its enduring reputation for excellence in trading, a reputation Badami says his group has thrived on over the last decade.
"Auto parts manufacturers and dealers, particularly those from emerging markets, are interested in the 'availability factor' more than anything else. They want quality brands at a fair price, but they are especially interested in being able to acquire the parts they need quickly, easily, and from partners they can trust to deliver for them in days not weeks, and without necessarily being made to 'bulk buy' to agree a fair price," said Badami.
A-MAP is the exclusive distributor of the Solite brand of batteries, and will be officially launching the range to commercial vehicles at CVME.
"We've seen incredible success at exhibitions like AUTOMECHANIKA, and our business has grown exponentially as a result of the many international relationships we've worked hard to develop throughout the exhibitions. We have no doubt that CVME is the perfect platform to delve into the commercial automotive market," concluded Badami.
