Talabani should present working paper for Nat'l Conference - legislature
BAGHDAD: A legislature in the so-called White Bloc has called on Iraqi President Jalal Talabani to present a working paper to contain the topics expected to be discussed by the proposed National Conference before the beginning of its works, accordingto a statement by the Legislature's media office on Wednesday."In following up on the statements by different politicians, we discovered that each bloc was expressing its own proposals, to be discussed by the National Conference; there should be one specific paper, prepared in advance by the Guardian of the Conference [President Talabani], to be distributed to the other political blocs," Kazim al-Shimmari said in his statement.
"The parties should be able to express their opinions and notes about the proposed paper," he added.
