Qatar Petroleum hosts three-day technical workshop for GCC students
Doha, Qatar · 7 February 2012 - Qatar Petroleum is hosting over 60 students from GCC member states for a three-day technical workshop aimed at enhancing their knowledge and skills on mechanical, electrical, process and instrumentation systems.
Organized by QP 's Corporate Training Department, the workshop started yesterday with a formal opening ceremony at the Al-Ghazal Club and is scheduled until February 8 at QP 's corporate training facilities in Ras Abu Aboud. The workshop is being conducted by the corporation's in-house technical instructors.
"The three-day workshop, with its comprehensive scope of topics and activities, will provide the participating GCC students not only with important information on various technical courses but also with the valuable training that would enable them to apply what they have learned," said Mrs. Fatima Mohamed Abdalla Ali Al-Ali, Assistant Manager for Vocational Learning of QP .
The participating GCC students are made up of 12 delegates from Bahrain, 6 from Oman, 19 from Qatar, 12 from Saudi Arabia, and 11 students from the United Arab Emirates. The workshop will conclude on Wednesday with the distribution of certificates and mementoes to all the participants.
